Golden Nugget Holds Open Casting Call Friday
If you are a fledgling actor, this could be your big break, bucko! Golden Nugget Atlantic City is holding an open casting call Friday for a production of the show "My Big Gay Italian Christmas", set to open July 28, 2018 during the Golden Nugget's Christmas in July Weekend.
According to Broadway World.com, the casting call will including Anthony J. Wilkinson the creator and author of the Big Gay Italian Trilogy. This is the first time ever the Golden Nugget has ever hosted an open casting call event.
The show is described as the follow up to the Big Gay Italian Trilogy, (My Big Gay Italian Wedding, My Big Gay Italian Funeral, My Big Gay Italian Midlife Crisis) Wilkinson has created a Christmas show designed specifically to play for the holiday season.
"A bisexual love triangle, political conversations gone spoiled, a variety of over the top characters and the snow storm of the century are just a few of the ingredients of this Big Gay Italian Christmas lasagna." Said Wilkinson of what's to come in this chapter as always loosely based on his own life.
The casting call will be held from 1-8pm Friday in the Newport Room at the Golden Nugget, according to the Press of Atlantic City.
