Calling all star gazers and astronomy buffs, the next couple of weeks may be your best bet to see all the five visible planets.

According to Fred Schaff, reporting for the Atlantic City Press, the moon will be absent from the evening sky, which will leave the sky dark and perfect for viewing the brightest stars of the year.

As an added bonus for the next two weeks, you'll be able to see Jupiter, Mars, Saturn,  Venus, and Mercury. Your best bet for success for seeing all the planets aligned will be this week, between 6 and 6:15 a.m.

The rarest and the brightest of the planets to view is Mercury. The best day to star gaze and see Venus and Mercury aligned close together will be on February 13th.

If you're an astronomy lover, have plenty of coffee ready, set your alarm extra early, and get ready to view the five brightest planets in our solar system for the first time on over a decade!
