Three more residents of long-term care facilities have died from complications of COVID-19 in Atlantic County.

Friday's update from the Atlantic County Division of Public Health says they include an 83-year-old woman from Egg Harbor Township and two people from Hammonton -- an 82-year-old man and an 84-year-old woman. Officials said all three had underlying medical issues.

Additionally, 27 new positives among 12 men (ages 31 to 87) and 15 women (ages 14 to 86) were reported, bringing the countywide total to 1,693.

As of Friday, the county has reported 107 deaths and a total of 447 people have been cleared as recovered.

Today's positive cases per town/township:
Pleasantville - 9
Northfield - 7
Galloway Township - 4
Atlantic City, Egg Harbor Township - 2 each
Absecon, Hammonton, Margate City - 1 each
