Since indoor dining has still been given a red light by Governor Murphy, a diner in Lacey Township has been issued a citation for allowing patrons inside the establishment.

NJ.com reports that this isn't the Lakeside diner's first offense. The diner has apparently been letting people sit inside once the outdoor tables fill up. Apparently, there have been a total of six citations issued since June. The owner made comments suggesting that even though he did allow people indoors, he didn't do so while abandoning social distancing regulations. He was still cited and was warned that if he continues to allow people to dine indoors, he could find the diner doors locked by the state.

The silver lining (if you so choose to call it) is that the Lakeside Diner is, in fact, allowed to remain open. Hopefully, a plan will soon be put in motion that will allow for indoor dining to resume, because people's livelihoods are at stake.
