Five Towns With the Lowest Tax Bills in South Jersey
This is an interesting list.
The New Jersey Department of Community Affairs has released tax numbers for every New Jersey municipality in 2024.
Of the 564 towns included, five in Cape May, Cumberland, and Salem counties are on the list of the lowest average bills in the state.
No town in Atlantic or Ocean counties made the list.
We aren't counting Camden County towns in our list, although two towns from Camden County -- Audubon Park and Camden City -- made the state's top 10 list of lowest tax bills.
We are following information published by The Patch for this list.

New Jersey property taxes are made up of school, municipal, and county taxes.
