Being responsible for a hit & run accident is bad enough. But when the vehicle you hit is an an on-duty ambulance, you've sunk to a new low.

Egg Harbor Township EMS Asks For Help With Driver ID

The squad at the Egg Harbor Township Emergency Medical Services are asking for your help identifying a vehicle that backed into an ambulance on duty Monday night outside the Egg Harbor Township Chick-fil-A store on Fire Road and the Black Horse Pike, and then drove off.

A car backed out of a parking spot and into the side of our ambulance.

The person that hit the ambulance, got out and looked at the damage, then got back in their vehicle and left the scene.

 

Please take a look at the pictures and see if you recognize this vehicle, we are obtaining video from the store. Asking for the Publix help to find this person.

This vehicle should have damage and a broken tail light. Appears to be some sort of Toyota SUV, white in color.

It’s a 4runner

 

That’s gonna be a 2010-2013 Toyota 4-runner (2014 had LED taillights.) I’m gonna guess and say limited or SR5 trim model in super white, natural white, pearl white or blizzard pearl. Hope that helps

It seems conclusive that the vehicle we are looking for is an older white Toyota 4runner with some rear-end damage and a broken tail light. You can see a video of the Toyota below.

Really! It was an accident. An accident with an on-duty ambulance. Have some human decency and stick around and take the blame.

Wouldn't that would be a much better scenario than the driver is facing now when he is identified and faces charges for hit & run in addition to the expense of fixing the ambulance?
