Dunkin’ Set to Close 450 Stores by End of Year
The list of retail closings continue to grow for 2020. One of America's biggest coffee and donut chains has just announced the permanent closings of 450 stores which will take effect by the end of 2020.
According to the USA Today, Dunkin' will no longer be available in all Speedway gas station convenience stores come 2021. All the Dunkin' closings will only affect the Speedway locations all along the east coast.
Speedway locations in South Jersey include Deptford Township, Lumberton, Pennsauken and multiple locations in Philadelphia. I would always stop for a fill up at Speedway and a cup of DD on the way to Philly to visit my son at school.
The coffee giant will now focus on their independent locations and the Next Generation restaurant design.
