For the second time in a week, a man living at the Tilton Terrace Mobile Park in Egg Harbor Township was arrested Tuesday on assault charges.

Rene DeJesus, 59, was arrested early Tuesday after police were called to the mobile park at about 12:45 am for a report of an assault, according to the Press of Atlantic City.

DeJesus has just been released Monday from the Atlantic County jail after a fight with a neighbor at Tilton Terrace on July 4th, with police being called to the scene.

In a press release concerning last week's incident, Egg Harbor Township Police said DeJesus attacked EHT Police Sgt. Michael Keeping repeatedly when he tried to restore order following the fight.

DeJesus was described as "shouting and acting disorderly" and threatening the officer, punching him and using a metal bird feeder and an ornamental rock as weapons, police said.

At one point during that skirmish, DeJesus brought his pit bull from his home and charged at Sgt. Keeping. Police said the dog didn't warm the officer. DeJesus was charged with disorderly conduct, terroristic threats, resisting arrest, and aggravated assault.

Rene DeJesus was taken back to the Atlantic County Justice Facility on Tuesday.
