Love is in the air with Valentine's Day just around the corner. More and more people are looking for a date, their next long-term relationship, a fling, or potential soulmate through online dating services. If you're looking for love online and live in the Garden State, we have some good news for you!

According to a new survey from a website called, High Speed Internet, New Jersey makes the Top 10 list of the safest states for online dating! We actually came in at #10 for safely finding romance on the internet. Vermont took the top spot, followed by Maine and New Hampshire.

Washington D.C., according to the survey, is the most dangerous place to find love online. No matter what, you always have to use common sense on whichever dating site you choose to use.
