Should It Be Mandatory To Receive COVID-19 Vaccine In New Jersey? [POLL]
As time goes on, more and more COVID-19 Vaccines will be made available to the public.
When I found this article at K2radio.com about the legal proceedings of the vaccine out in Wyoming, it got thinking:
Should New Jersey lawmakers make it mandatory for residents to receive the COVID-19 Vaccine?
The new law being proposed in Wyoming is as follows:
''No governmental entity or public employee shall force, require or coerce a person to receive an immunization or vaccination for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), first detected in Wuhan, Hubei province, People's Republic of China, or influenza against the person's will, nor shall the state health officer include them in any required immunization under W.S. 21‑4‑309.''
Bascially....it is each individual's choice of whether or not they receive the vaccine.
This one is a bit sticky.
PRO for the Bill: Everyone should have a right to decide what they put into their own body.
CON for the Bill: Anyone who does not receive the vaccine will continue to put themselves and those around them with at risk...especially since COVID-19 can be carried and transferred to others without exhibiting symptoms.
What scares me is this: the vaccine, the face masks, the social distancing and the constant need to sanitize is about slowing the spready to protect those who are at higher risk.
A majority of healthy people who get COVID-19 fully recover. It is those who are older with a pre-existing condition that truly struggle when they get the virus.
So following all of these safety precautions is about being selfless and there are many people who have already proven that they will not cooperate. We have all seen those viral videos of people refusing to wear face masks.
Do we make it mandatory for all to get the COVID-19 Vaccine so no one is at risk and there is no chance COVID can make a return?
I leave the choice up to you....cast your vote below.
