Chick-fil-A has made it possible for a South Jersey employee to return to Stockton University to continue her education.

Jamie Oriente has been working for the Egg Harbor Township Chick-fil-A for the past year as the restaurant’s New Hire Trainer and Team Leader, since college costs and her father's medical bills forced her to put her education at Stockton on hold.

According to a release from Chick-fil-A, Jaime was chosen by the company as one of twelve employees at the company’s annual conference in Anaheim, California,, announcing that each would receive a $25,000 True Inspiration Scholarship.

Chick-fil-A flew Oriente and her family were flown out to the conference, but she was still surprised by the announcement, according to the news release. Afterward, Oriente and her family toured Disneyland.

“Someone saw my potential and how hard-working I am,” says Jamie about winning the scholarship.

Jamie is looking forward to returning to school to complete her degree and, later, to pursuing a long-term career with Chick-fil-A.
