Here's some information on Charlie from the Humane Society of Ocean City...

"Charlie is a 1 year old Lab/Heeler mix that was surrendered by his owner. Charlie has had minimal structure and socializing in his life so he will need an owner that can get him out in the world.

He is a good dog but it takes him some time to warm up to people so he will need a couple of visits to be comfortable. He would be fine with a female dog his own speed, no cats, and older kids would be fine with the understanding that he plays a little "ruff".

If you would like to visit Charlie or need more information about any animal up for adoption at The Humane Society of Ocean City, call 609-398-9500 to make an appointment.

To adopt from the HSOC you will need one form of identification, which includes your name, permanent address and proof of ownership (i.e., local tax stub). If you rent, written approval from your landlord is required as well as personal identification. The adoption fee is $65 for cats and $325 for dogs under 6 months; $225 for dogs from 6 months to 7 years; $125 for dogs 8 years and over.

They accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and debit cards. Checks are accepted upon management’s approval. All adoptions include spay/neuter surgery, microchip if requested, and all necessary vaccinations through the first year.
