The Cape Atlantic League record holder for the most Passing Yards and Touchdown Passes in a season has announced he has received an offer to continue his Football career at the next level:

Cedar Creek Quarterback JC Landicini set the CAL season records for pass completions (202), passing yards (3,230), and touchdown passes (36) during the 2021 High School Football season, which in part why he was named the South Jersey High School Male Athlete of the 2021 Fall season.  Landicini's Cedar Creek Pirates Football team won the South Jersey/Central Jersey Group 3 Regional Championship after finishing just 3-5 during the 2020 COVID shortened football season.

According to Max Preps, JC Landicini led the state of New Jersey in Passing Yards and had the second most Passing Touchdowns during the 2021 High School Football season.  Landicini also had the fourth-best completion percentage (65.8%) among New Jersey Quarterbacks with at least 200 Pass Attempts.

Delaware State Hornets Football team competes in the NCAA Division 1 Subdivision level (also known as the FCS level), which is right below the Football Bowl level of College Football in which schools like Rutgers and Penn State competes.  Delaware State finished last season with a 5-6 record and last won the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Championship in 2007.  Famous football alumni from Delaware State includes three-time Super Bowl Champion 49ers Wide Receiver John Taylor, former Eagles starting Center Jamaal Jackson (started 72 games for the Eagles), member of the 49ers' Super Bowl XXIX Championship team Ron Milstead, along with former Washington and Philadelphia Wide Receiver Darneiren McCants.
