Can You Help? This Year’s Holiday Food Drive Is More Important Than Ever

It's that time again, and this year it's more important than ever. Help us feed our South Jersey neighbors with the Lite Rock Holiday Food Drive at our local ShopRite stores.

2020 has been challenging to say the least, and through these difficult times we find comfort in knowing our neighbors are there for us. That's why we need YOU to help us make sure no South Jersey family goes without food this holiday season.

Each year the Community Food Bank of New Jersey Southern Branch helps feed over 900,000 hungry people, including over 260,000 children. More than 93,000 residents in Atlantic, Cape May and Cumberland counties struggle with hunger. Now thanks to COVID-19, those numbers will surely increase; the need is greater than ever.

This year, the Lite Rock Holiday Food Drive goes virtual, and even though we won't be there in person, collecting food, you can still help us feed the struggling families of South Jersey.

Here's how you can help:

Our local ShopRite stores are once again offering the community a chance to give back and make someone's holiday season brighter. Their $10 pre-made meal bags provide all the holiday trimmings to make green bean casserole, baked sweet potatoes, corn, stuffing and cranberry sauce.

These bags are donated directly to the Community Food Bank of NJ Southern Branch who will distribute them to those in need this holiday season. It's easy to help, when checking out, just let the cashier know you want to donate a bag, they'll do the rest.
