The proposed Super Wawa's would go to Blackwood in Gloucester Township and to Cherry Hill, reports Courier Post.

The Blackwood store would reportedly take over the former Entenmann's Bakery on Blackwood-Clementon Road next to Rita's Water Ice, according to 42freeway.com. The next closest Wawa in Blackwood is over by C.W. Lewis Middle School at the intersection of Erial and Little Gloucester Rd.

In Cherry Hill, Wawa would become part of Barclay Farms Shopping Center on Route 70. That store would most likely replace the OG Wawa on the other side of that highway.

I'm personally VERY, VERY excited for the Super Wawa on Blackwood-Clementon Road. My mom lives not far from there, so it'll be close enough for me to walk to! I can tell you who's probably NOT happy about it: the Royal Farms that opened not too long ago just feet away.

Not to mention that WHOLE stretch of road could use a boost. It used to be populated with lots of restaurants, like Nifty's Fifty's, Friendly's, Pizza Hut, Denny's, and East Side Mario's. Now, there aren't many options. And the Entenmann's Bakery that used to be where the new Wawa may be going moved over to the Cotardo's/Starbucks shopping center.

And, there are rumors that Chipotle is moving forward with its plans to raze and build on the old Denny's site. I'll keep you posted as I'm in that area on a regular basis.

What other stores/restaurants could the Blackwood area use? Let us know in the comment box below.
