Until the pandemic hit, we had held Lite Rock's Easter Egg Hunt for 15 consecutive years, beginning in 2004 in Birch Grove Park, and then at the Field of Dreams in Absecon until 2019.

It has been two years now that we haven't held the Easter Egg Hunt and I found myself going through some of the old photos of Egg Hunts past. I chose three years at random to look at; 2016, 2018 and 2019.

What I found were a ton of adorable photos. The photos in the gallery below are some of my favorites from those three years.

If I happened to choose a photo of you or your child, you will really get a kick out of this. But, even if you really don't recognize anyone in the photos here, I think you will smile looking at all the happy, innocent little faces and all the cute Easter outfits, too!

Our sincere hope is that by Easter of 2022, we can get back to holding the Lite Rock Easter Egg Hunt again.

So many children in South Jersey spent two or three early spring days with us lining up to try to get as many egg as they could and leaving with a bag of candy, a photo with the Easter Bunny and a happy memory.

I have also included a really old photo of my own children, Eileen and Bridget, taken at the Lite Rock Easter Egg Hunt in 2010. I just couldn't resist.

Have a very Happy Easter! I hope the Easter Bunny is good to you.
