The spread of the coronavirus in the country continues to have an impact on the sports world and other events in the area as another event has been cancelled in 2020 - the Atlantic City Airshow.

The Greater Atlantic City Chamber announced via a press release that the 2020 event, which was scheduled for Aug. 26, would be canceled due to public health risks associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.

The event brings around 500,000 spectators to the area and brings a significant amount of economic surge to Atlantic City.

The Atlantic City Airshow is the largest mid-week air show in the country.
