Attend The India Day Parade On The Atlantic City Boardwalk Sat.

Any day that can be spent learning about a different culture seems like a pretty good day to me.

On Saturday, August 10th, the South Jersey Indian Association is hosting their annual parade on the boardwalk in Atlantic City in honor of India's 73rd year of independence.

The parade will start at Showboat Atlantic City Hotel at 3:00 PM and will end at Arkansas Avenue around 6:00 PM.

The event is free and will feature various floats, dancing, DJs playing Bollywood hits, and it will bring thousands of people to the boardwalk for quite the fun day.

Following the parade is a carnival which is being held on the second floor of the House of Blues inside the Showboat so the celebration will continue.
