According to a report in the Press of Atlantic City, the branches set to reopen are located in Galloway, Egg Harbor Township, Hammonton and Mays Landing. The libraries will be open Monday thorough Friday form 9 AM to 5 PM.

The first hour between 9 and 10 AM will be reserved only for the elderly, anyone with underlying medical conditions and those who are deemed to be at high risk for the coronavirus.

All branches can only open at 25% capacity at this time and all employees and visitors must wear a mask at all times. Social distancing will also be enforced. You'll also be able to reserve items online and curbside pickup will be available Monday through Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM.

Storytime, bookclubs, the use of copiers, mobile printing and scanning are not available at this time. You can request the use of a computer by appointment for only 30 minutes.

The next wave of library openings will take place as of July 13th when Egg Harbor City, Pleasantville, Brigantine, Somers Point and Ventnor are expected to open their doors.  Hours will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:30 AM to 5 PM. The first hour will also be reserved for the elderly and  anyone with underlying medical conditions.

It's so good to final have our local libraries open up once again. I have so many fond memories of bringing my boys to the library especially during the summer season.
