According to People.com, the 2020 version of the Rockefeller Christmas tree will come from a general store located in Oneonta, New York. The gigantic 75-foot  spruce was cut down on Thursday, November 12th to begin its holiday trek to Rockefeller Center.

The 2020 edition of one of the most famous Christmas trees will arrive in NYC on Saturday, November 14th. The tree, with more than 50,000 multi colored lights and five miles of wire will light up the 2020 holiday season at Rockefeller Center on December 2nd. The tree will also stay lit for 24 hours on Christmas Day.

Another holiday staple and one of the biggest traditions to officially kick off the holiday season will take place this year. Get ready for the 2020 version of the annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. The 2020 version of the parade will be much smaller and parts will be virtual  due to the lingering concerns of the COVID-19 pandemic

I'm thrilled that both the parade and the tree lighting ceremony will happen this year. Both are holiday staples for me and my family. I have so many fond holiday memories of bringing my boys to the parade and the Christmas Tree Lighting at Rockefeller Center.
