Here's some information on Cheyanne from the Humane Society of Ocean City...

"Cheyanne was found as a stray on the Jersey streets. No one came for her so we pulled her from a big shelter.

She came in to that shelter very scared but very sweet. Cheyanne has really come out of her shell. Somethings are still a little scary. Tight spaces and loud noises but she’s trying very hard to work through it.

Cheyanne is still working on her manners as she is new to leash walking and likes to jump on people. She would prefer to be an only "spoiled" child.

If you would like to visit Cheyanne or need more information about any animal up for adoption at The Humane Society of Ocean City, call 609-398-9500 to make an appointment.

To adopt from the HSOC you will need one form of identification, which includes your name, permanent address and proof of ownership (i.e., local tax stub). If you rent, written approval from your landlord is required as well as personal identification. The adoption fee is $65 for cats and $325 for dogs under 6 months; $225 for dogs from 6 months to 7 years; $125 for dogs 8 years and over.

They accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and debit cards. Checks are accepted upon management’s approval. All adoptions include spay/neuter surgery, microchip if requested, and all necessary vaccinations through the first year.
