It's an idea whose time has come.  Through the years, we've found many different ways to enjoy our ice cream.

As kids, who doesn't remember the cannonball?  The cone-shaped plastic container was filled with sherbet and had a frozen gumball on the bottom.  Or how about the push-pop?

More traditional ways to eat ice cream include the sundae, and of course the ice cream cone.

Today, there's a new way to enjoy ice cream and it's a wonder, nobody thought of this sooner.

The ice cream nacho has made it to New Jersey.  Mindy's Homemade Ice Cream, located on route 9 in Bayville offers ice cream nachos.

Miss Mindy's is located in the Shore Plaza in Bayville.  They offer a wide selection of homemade ice cream.  They are known for the many creative flavors, and different combinations of ice cream and toppings.

In addition to traditional ice cream, they offer dairy-free and are one of a very few local places that offer vegan options as well.

The one item on the menu that is getting attention these days are the ice cream nachos.  Two scoops of ice cream, waffle chips, whipped cream, and a couple of toppings.
