This trip to the hardware store really did turn into a true value!

A ticket for Monday's Powerball Lottery sold at Shore True Value Hardware on New Road in Somers Point hit for a $50,000 prize, according to the New Jersey Lottery.

The ticket was one of five in New Jersey that matched four of the five white balls and the Power Ball in Monday's drawing to win the second-tier prize.

Another third-prize ticket matching four numbers plus the Powerball purchased at Sunoco on Delilah Road in Egg Harbor Township won $100,000.

The winning numbers in Monday's Powerball drawing were 01,04,12,36 and 49. The Red Power Ball number was 05. The Power Play was 2X.

No one across the country hit the $606.6 million jackpot, pushing the top prize for Wednesday’s drawing to $653 million with a cash option of $350.5 million.

The top Powerball prize has gone unclaimed since Nov. 19, causing the jackpot to shoot past $500 million in recent weeks. The chances of winning a Powerball jackpot are extremely slim, with odds standing at about 1 in 292.2 million.
