Will Bass Pro Shops Lure Men to Atlantic City? [POLL]

Atlantic City leaders knew they were onto something when Tanger Outlets The Walk opened up. But despite the city's growth as a shopping destination, one demographic seems to absent.

That is until now. Officials are hoping that a Bass Pro Shops -- a mecca for outdoor sporting equipment -- will draw in men, and not just those being dragged by their wives and girlfriends.

Last year Bass Pro Shops announced plans to set up shop on a 4-acre area on Atlantic Avenue just off the Atlantic City Expressway.  The company is reportedly on track to break ground this spring, with a opening in late 2013 or early 2014.
