Wildwood Crest Police Warn of a Man Approaching Children
Police in Wildwood Crest are interested in talking to a man who approached three local kids in a pair of suspicious incidents last week. Police have issued a community alert and are asking you to take extra care when supervising your children.
On Thursday, April 13, a white man described as in his 50's, driving a gold-colored SUV, approached two middle school-age girls on the street and asked them, "Why didn't you say hi?".
The following day, a boy of middle-school age was approached while playing basketball outside his home by a similar looking man who questioned the boy about whether his father was at home.
Even though there are criminal charges pending at this point, police still wanted the public to be advised and to use caution. They are also very interested in speaking with this guy.
