There's already quite a buzz about a roller coaster set to makes its debut next summer on the Ocean City Boardwalk.

Playland's Castaway Cove has just released a promotional video for the coaster they are calling Gailforce, and the video is enough to make your knees a little shaky.

Gailforce will stand 125-feet-tall, speed to 64-mph during three vertical launches, and feature "a beyond 90-degree drop". After all, that plain-Jane, ordinary 90-degree drop is so-o-o-o-o old school!

The ride was designed by Scott Simpson, the owner of Playland's Castaway Cove, with special consideration given to the space limitations of their Boardwalk location.

GailForce will be built by S&S - Sansei Technologies, the same company that gave us Playland's leave-your-dinner-behind favorite, the Double Shot.

Playland's V.P. Brian Hartley announced the coaster plans Tuesday, saying that GaleForce would replace the Flitzer Roller Coaster and the Python Coaster on the 10th Street side of the park.
