Talk about an impressive accomplishment! Billy Joel racked up his 100th performance at Madison Square Garden Wednesday night, with a surprise guest appearance by his buddy, Bruce Springsteen.

According to NJ.com, Bruce, who had an off night from his "Springsteen on Broadway" show across town, joined Billy for an encore jam featuring Springsteen's "10th Avenue Freeze-Out" and "Born to Run".

Billy Joel passed Elton John's record of 64 for the most performances at the famous arena back in 2015 and then piled on an extra 35 shows with his monthly residency show at the Garden.

Joel is quoted as saying, "There are a lot of venues out there, but only one Madison Square Garden -- my home away from home."
