Ventnor’s City Farmer’s Market Set to Open with Many New Merchants
Summer is just around the corner, and with it comes a long-time tradition in Ventnor City.
The Ventnor City Farmer's Market is about to kick off their 7th year as one of the area's favorite spots for produce, crafts, and fun.
Beginning Friday, May 26th, The Ventnor City Farmer's Market will open up in the parking lot of the St. James Church at the corner of Newport and Atlantic.
They have something for everyone. Some of the vendors who will be plying their wares include the Misty Meadow Farm. They'll be offering a wide array of dairy products that include cheese and yogurt that are made daily.
Mento Farms will have some of the freshest, juiciest blueberries, Kismet Bagels will be there, and Maui Joe's will have Hawaiian Shaved Ice, and Keris Potato Farm will have fresh cut French fries.
This year will also feature a good number of newcomers like JCaplan Art. They create paint-by-numbers kits that allow kids to explore their creativity. By the way, painting-by-numbers is a great stress buster for adults as well.
The vendors lined up for this year's farmer's market offer a wide variety of categories. It even includes goodies for your fur babies. Good Boy Biscuits and Bones will be there. They create organic dog treats that are especially appealing for dogs with food allergies.
Overall, there will be over 60 farmers, food vendors, and crafts.
The market will be open Friday's 8:30 til noon through Labor Day. It's located at 6421 Atlantic Avenue, and admission is free. The city is offering free parking in their municipal lot on Newport Avenue.
