
Urgent Call to Identify Suspect in South Jersey Abduction Incident
🔺 New Jersey State Police seek suspect in abduction attempt

🔺 Abduction attempt in front of the victim's home in broad daylight
It's a thing parents' nightmares are made of.
Your child is just outside your home, when a stranger approaches, and tries to snatch the child.
For one family, this was nearly a nightmare.
Thankfully, this story didn't end in heartbreak.
It all happened this past Sunday morning.
That's when the State Police say an unknown man approached a young female who was outside her home near State Highway 47 and Main Street in Maurice River Township, in Cumberland County.
Now, the State Police are asking the public for help identifying the suspect in this case.
Police say the suspect is a white male who is approximately 6 feet tall.
They believe the suspect is between 30 and 40 years old.
The suspect has light stubbly hair and a two-inch jagged scar along his left jawline.
At the time of the incident, the suspect was wearing a black beanie-style hat, an oversized black hoodie, black sweatpants, black socks, and black shoes,
If you recognize the suspect pictured, authorities want to hear from you.

Tips submitted to the State Police will be kept confidential.
Police continue to search for other felons on the loose in our community.
If you have information about any of these subjects, you are asked to call 9-1-1.
You should never approach the subjects on your own.
