Turnersville Kohl’s Store Will Soon Include Sephora
The Kohl's store on Route 42 in Turnersville is getting an upgrade in the form of pop-up Sephora.
Color me happy, y'all. Sephora, the chain I refer to as 'the Disneyland of cosmetics', is being added to a number of area Kohl's locations, including Turnersville.
I just visited the Sephora pop-up inside JCPenny at Ocean County Mall over the weekend, and wished that something similar existed somewhere I didn't have to trek through a whole mall to get to. Plus, it always confused me that Deptford Mall has an actual Sephora AND the pop-up inside its JCPenny.
Now, I don't know if Sephora's partnership with Kohl's means their ending the one with JCPenny, but I do know that of the only two New Jersey Kohl's stores to soon include a Kohl's, Turnersville was lucky enough to be one of them. The other is in Hamilton Twp., Mercer County. Sephora plans to expand into as many as 850 Kohl's stores by 2023, reports 6abc.com.
The Sephora inside Kohl's experience looks to be on track for this coming fall, according to 6abc.com, and that means the Kohl's in Turnersville will need 2,500 square feet of dedicated space to accommodate it. So my guess is that the small cosmetics area that currently exists there near jewelry and perfume will be relocated.
I wonder Sephora will absorb Cargo cosmetics and Bliss. I like being able to get those brands at Kohl's. We'll have to wait and see.
But I do know that come fall when I'm in the Camden County area visiting friends and family, it'll be very convenient to pop into Kohl's stock up on my Sephora favorites. Especially since we no longer have a Sephora in Atlantic County. Yeah, I can shop online, and I do, but some things you just need to see in person.
