According to the Press of Atlantic City, a Code Blue has been issued for  Atlantic County through Saturday, January 10th.  In Cape May county a Code Blue is in effect from 6 PM to 6 AM on January 10th.

According to our Lite Rock meteorologist Dan Zarrow, temps will drop close to 27 degrees to 30 degrees at night this weekend. Temps do warm up  a bit to start the work week.

Anyone needing help with shelter during the winter season in Atlantic County should check out ReadyAtlantic.org for a list of warming shelters. Or you can seek help from the Atlantic City Mission Homeless Hotline at 609.345.5517. The mission is located on Bacharach Blvd. in Atlantic City.

For those who need help and shelter in Cape May County during the upcoming 2020 winter season can call the Cape May County Division of Social Services at 609-886-6200. In Atlantic County you can contact your local Office of Emergency Management.   

Any resident of the Garden State can get help with homelessness by calling a 2-1-1 hotline or texting your zip code to 898-211 for help. The hotline is available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
