The legendary Ocean Sands Motel is no more.

On the site where the legendary Motel once stood, on Ocean Avenue in Wildwood is a new adult attraction

The new attraction is unlike anything else in the area.

South Jersey's newest Tiki bar is now open in Wildwood.

The Point has opened for business, and there aren't many places like this.

They seem to have thought of everything.  They offer the obligatory tropical drinks, a wide-ranging menu of food to nosh on, live music, and great vibes.

As you walk through the front gate, you'll notice The Point is totally outdoors.

There's plenty of sand and palm trees (albeit fake ones, but they look good) you'll enjoy the breeze while sipping some adult beverages, or sit by one of their three bars and hang with friends, or make new ones.

They're promising to bring in local bands and DJs that reflect the taste of their visitors and encourage guests to suggest future bands.

Sure, some folks will lament the demise of the family-oriented motel, but even they must admit, this is a cool concept.
