Jets, Jumps & More: Wildwood Airshow This Weekend

The Wildwoods "Thunder Over the Waves Airshow" takes place this Friday and Saturday, Sept. 5th and 6th.

The Greater Wildwoods Tourism Improvement and Development Authority is presenting the free show, produced by David Schultz Airshows, and they promise a day of non-stop action and entertainment.

The Airshow will include 15 headlining acts, including a number of military performers.

Spectators will be able to enjoy the show from anywhere on the island, with the beach and boardwalk having the best viewing areas.

The center of the event is at Spicer Avenue between Morey’s Mariner’s Pier and Adventure Pier.

The Airshow holds its practice day on Friday, Sept 5th, and the Airshow day on Saturday, Sept. 6th.

After the Airshow on Saturday, you are invited to join the unofficial afterparty, The Wildwoods Food and Music Festival at Byrne Plaza in Downtown Wildwood from 2 - 8 pm.

The Food and Music Festival will feature food vendors serving a variety of food, sweets, and classic boardwalk treats, along with craft vendors, a beer garden, and live music.
