This ‘Fatal Attraction’ Movie Star Was Born In New Jersey

Many, perhaps most never knew that this mega Hollywood movie star was born in New Jersey.

The A List ”Fatal Attraction”and “Basic Instinct” lead actor was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey on September 25, 1944.

Michael Douglas has more than 50 years experience in theatre, movies and television. He is one of the most successful actors in history.

Douglas is the winner of two Academy Awards … one as a producer of the iconic movie “One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest,” the 1975 Best Picture Winner and for Best Actor, “Wall Street” in 1987.

Michael Douglas is the son of another Hollywood legend, Kirk Douglas.

Michael Douglas is married to actress Catherine Zeta-Jones since November 18, 2000. He was previously married to Diandra Luker from 1977 to 2000.

In 2003, Kirk Douglas, Michael Douglas, along with his son Cameron starred in the movie “It Runs in the Family.”

The plot of the movie is about three generations of a dysfunctional family, located in Manhattan.

Kirk Douglas lived to be 103 years old. He died on February 5, 2020, in Beverly Hills, California.

Despite his incredible body of work, Kirk Douglas never won an Academy Award … but, he did receive an Academy Honorary Award for Lifetime Achievement and the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
