Duffer's Restaurant and Homemade Ice Cream Parlour

Duffer's offers a bit more than great sundaes. They have an adjacent restaurant, arcade, and even an 18-hole mini golf course. This is like the old-time ice cream parlors we used to visit as kids.

The Dugout

I love the concept of a baseball themed ice cream place. It seems like the natural combination of summer fun and taste. They are off the boardwalk, so you probably won't encounter some of the craziness elsewhere. If you're a baseball fan, you'll love the memorabilia.

Homemade ice is on tap here. Lots of flavors to choose from. They're pretty creative in the flavors they produce. I've never heard of chocolate-covered bacon, but they have it. Also, the flavor choices change daily.

Family-owned since 1991, in addition to their sundaes, they offer 24 different flavors of ice cream as well as soft serve. This is a cash-only business, but they have an atm on site.
