Thanksgiving Travel Question Answered: Can You Pack Turkey in Luggage?
Finally! Here's an answer to THE Thanksgiving travel question that's been on everyone's mind. Can you pack a turkey in your airplane carry-on bag?
OK, maybe I'm overstating the importance of this question a little bit and sorry for the slightly misleading photo of a live turkey on this post. But he is cute, isn't he?
We are talking about a a cooked turkey.
But the question remains. Can you pack the family's Thanksgiving turkey in your luggage? And, of course, the answer is ....yes.
The TSA is allowing passengers to pack a cooked turkey in their carry-on luggage.
On the TSA’s website it says passengers can also pack stuffing, side dishes and desserts in their carry-on bags.
All items still need to follow all rules about packing liquid in suitcases.
