Target Set to Close on Thanksgiving Day, Announces 2020 Holiday Plans
There is no doubt that the 2020 holiday season will have a very different look and feel to it thanks to the coronavirus pandemic.
Walmart was the first giant retailer to announce their stores would remain closed for Thanksgiving Day 2020 so employees can spend the holiday with family. The last time all Walmart stores closed on turkey day was the late 80's.
Now comes word that all Target stores will also close for Thanksgiving 2020 so all employees can enjoy spending the day eating turkey with family and friends.
The retailer also announced their holiday plans for their 2020 Christmas shopping season. You won't have to wait until November for savings since the lowest prices of the year will actually start in October both in-store and on the Target website.
You'll also be able to take advantage of blockbuster deals for the holidays before and after Thanksgiving day which falls on November 26th this year.
Target will also make over 20,000 more products and gifts available for pickup and delivery starting this fall. The list will also include fresh and frozen groceries.
Look for more retailers to close their doors this Thanksgiving so more workers can enjoy the day off spending time with family, eating turkey and watching lots of football!
