Investigators are trying to who shot and killed a man in Egg Harbor City Friday afternoon.

Jerry Moravek, who was a Paterson Police Officer, is accused of shooting 28-year-old Khalif Cooper during a foot pursuit in June 2022. At the time of the incident, Passaic authorities claimed that the suspect was armed at the time, but state authorities state that body camera footage contradicted that.

The Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office says the 13-year-old boy was shot, and needed to be airlifted to Cooper Hospital. He's reported in stable condition.
