Police in Stafford Township are asking residents to help them find the people responsible for vandalizing the township's park bathrooms.

Police say they have recently seen an increase in vandalism and that it is destroying community property and costing taxpayers money.

Stafford Twp Police Report Increase in Vandalism

According to a Facebook post from Stafford Twp Police, there has been an increase in cases of graffiti, arson, damage to sinks and toilets in park bathrooms, and the theft of locks, chains, and fixtures from the bathrooms.

Police want everyone to know these are serious offenses.

We want to be clear: acts such as criminal mischief, arson, and destruction of township property are serious offenses and can result in significant criminal charges.

 

Police Increase Presence in Township Parks

Stafford Township Police say they have increased their patrols in township parks, installed new locks, and added security cameras to help deter and identify the people responsible.

Police want parents to talk with their children about the consequences of this vandalism.
