Sportscaster and radio host Howard Eskin has been banned from Citizen's Bank Park for the remainder of the Phillies season after an investigation by his own media company found he had given an "unwelcome kiss" to an Aramark employee.

Howard Eskin Barred from This Season's Phillies Games

According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, a worker with the ballpark's concessions company, Aramark, accused Eskin, 73, of giving her an unwelcome kiss while she was working in the former Diamond Club, an exclusive seating area behind home plate.

Audacy says it immediately began an investigation that backed up the Aramark employee's allegations.

“We learned of an unwelcome kiss by Howard Eskin towards an Aramark employee at Citizens Bank Park. We take these matters very seriously. We immediately investigated and took action to address the matter," Audacy said.

A source says it was Audacy's idea to ban eskin from the ballpark.

A source familiar with the investigation says the incident happened in May.

The Phillies Support Decision to Ban Eskin From Season's Remaining Games

The Phillies released a statement supporting the decision to suspend Eskin from the team's remaining games this year.

"We cooperated with outer partners at Audacy and Aramark on the investigations. We support Audacy's decision to suspend Howard Eskin from Citizens Bank Park."

The Inquirer reports that the incident happened before a game in the CP Rankin Club, an exclusive seating area behind home plate. Eskin allegedly tried to kiss the woman as she backed away from him.

Howard Eskin's Long and Controversial Legacy in Philly Sports

Howard Eskin was one of the original talk hosts on WIP radio's sports format in 1986. The Philly native established a love-or-hate reputation with listeners by referring to anyone who disagreed with him as a "dope".

Eskin will still host his Saturday morning radio show on WIP and perform other duties for the radio station during this period of suspension from Citizens Bank Park.

He also works as a sideline reporter during Eagles radio broadcasts.
