Spending the Afternoon with Miss New Jersey and Miss America 2016 [WATCH]

The Miss America Arrival Ceremony was held today live on the world famous Atlantic City Boardwalk.
The 2017 Miss America contestants made their debut at Kennedy Plaza. All 52 contestants were introduced to the crowd during the Parade of States. Of course, Miss New Jersey got the biggest hand.

I had the chance to to meet and chat with Betty Cantrell, Miss America 2016, and Miss New Jersey 2016, Brenna Weick of Mantua!

It was also fun to talk to the reigning Miss America who has raised over $14.2 Million dollars for the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. Miss America plans on moving to Nashville to pursue a career as a country singer.

Good luck to all of the contestants participating in the 2017 Miss America competition live from Boardwalk Hall and live on ABC-TV on Sunday night, September 11th, starting at 9 PM. The preliminary competition takes place on September 6-8, and the "Show Us Your Shoes" Parade happens on September 10th on the AC Boardwalk.

All of these amazing young women have worked extremely hard to get to the next level and proudly represent their respective states. Of course, I am partial to Miss New Jersey, on becoming Miss America 2017!
