A 60-year-old South Jersey tennis coach is in jail awaiting a hearing for showing a 15-year-old girl a naked photo of himself on two occasions during tennis lessons, authorities say.

Tennis Coach Groomed a 15-Year-Old Student Over Two Years

A youth tennis coach whom police allege groomed a 15-year-old student over two years has been arrested after allegedly showing her a nude photo of himself, according to the Camden County Proscecutor's Office.

Ovidiu V. Dragos, 60,  of Moorestown, Burlington County also “placed numerous letters, cards, poems, and gifts” in the victim’s bag over two years of coaching her in the group classes at the Racquet Club, as well as in private lessons at outdoor courts in Cherry Hill, Cinnaminson, and Moorestown.

Tennis Coach Faces Multiple Charges for Persuing Teen Girl

Dragos who coaches youth tennis at Moorestown High School and the Cherry Hill Health and Racquet Club, was arrested in Moorestown Monday by officials with the U.S. Marshals office.

He faces charges including stalking, harassment, and endangering the welfare of a child, according to NBC 10.

Dragos allegedly showed the victim his naked photo from his cell phone “on two separate occasions” while she attended group tennis lessons at the club, the CCPO reported.
