Former Boyfriend of Mother Convicted

Authorities say that Mottas was living with his girlfriend in the summer of 2015 when he began abusing her daughters who were six and seven at the time.

Prosecutors said the abuse continued over five months, and Monttas threatened to harm them and their mother if they told anyone.

Neither sister knew the other was being abused.

The abuse came to an end in November of that year.

In 2019 the children informed their mother of the abuse.  At that time the mother contacted authorities.
