Should the Speed Limit on Tilton Road be Lowered?

Tilton Road is a part on my daily commute and after having another "close call" this morning, sometimes I wonder if the speed limit should be lowered on parts of this heavily used road.

I know 40 MPH doesn't sound like much, but lets be honest, 50 is the new 40 on Tilton. Sometimes it can be downright dangerous pulling out from a driveway, and if you're sticking out too far, chances are you may get clipped by a car traveling too fast on Tilton.  Perhaps a lower speed limit in the business sections of Tilton couldn't hurt.
