Senior Citizen Facing Drug Charges in Egg Harbor City, NJ

A 66-year-old Egg Harbor City man is facing charges following a drug bust last week.

The Egg Harbor City Police Department says the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office joined them to execute a search warrant at a home on the unit block of 2nd Terrace last Thursday, September 7th.

The search warrant was part of an ongoing investigation into the distribution of illegal narcotics in Egg Harbor City.

As a result of the investigation, John C. Malluck of Egg Harbor City was arrested and charged with the following:

• Possession with the intent to distribute CDS
• Possession of prescription legend drugs
• Possession of CDS
• 2 counts of possessing a weapon during a CDS offense
• Distribution of CDS within 500 feet of public housing

Malluck was lodged on a warrant in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.

The public is reminded that charges are accusations and all persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
