Historic AC Hotel Is Completely Renovated & Is Ready To Be #1
The 105-year-old Seaview Hotel & Golf Club has gone through an $18 million dollar renovation and is ready to prove that they are one of the best destinations in South Jersey.
And even better: all of the students are gone.
Stockton University used to fill a whopping 174 rooms with 300 students which means this probably wasn't the most calm place originally.
But now, Stockton has sold the Seaview Hotel which means relaxation, here we come.
"When you are owned by a university, their mission is different than a typical hotel investor's mission would be," said Mike Tidwell, director of sales and marketing for Dolce Hotels and Resorts. "The college wanted a return on their investment, too. And that return was student housing and the seamless experience for their students -- transportation, getting their food, quiet places to study, safety."
The hotel went through a complete makeover and now has a new Lobby Bar which will service snacks, small plates and drinks and a new Main Dining Room and Grill Room.
"There's nothing that's not new," said Tidwell. "The majority of the $18 million went to the guest rooms. Every room has been gutted and updated with new plumbing, lighting fixtures, beds, furniture and smart TVs.
Now, Seaview is a part of Atlantic City's history so it is amazing news that, "all of the original woodwork was saved and restored," during the renovation.
