Overnight Fire Tears Through Avalon House

South Jersey firefighters had a busy start to Wednesday with an overnight house fire in Avalon.

6ABC is reporting that a house fire broke out in an Avalon home in the overnight hours of Wednesday morning.

The fire was at a single-family home on the 4700 block of 4th Avenue in Avalon, in the Yale Harbor section.

It took firefighters about an hour to get the fire under control.

There is no report of injuries from the fire.
