OUTRAGEOUS: Puppy Stolen and Dumped On Side Of South Jersey Road

Let me first start out by stating what most people reading this can relate to: any news regarding harmed pups makes my blood boil.

This piece of information is no exception. Brace yourselves.

A family from Delaware had their dog stolen from them only for it to be disposed of on a South Jersey road in Pennsville, Salem County. What kind of person do you have to be to do something like that?

NJ.com reports that a family from Hockessin, Delaware, which is about 20-25 minutes over the Delaware Memorial Bridge, reported their Pyredoodle puppy missing only to discover that it was a neighbor who took the dog. To add insult to injury, the puppy's not just any dog. It's got a job to do. The family's newest addition has a purpose: to serve as their son's therapy dog.

The dog was driven over the bridge into South Jersey where it was just let go without food, water, or any comforts at all on the side of a road in Pennsville. That poor family must have been beside themselves. If you've got a soft side for the fur babies, then you can imagine their agony.

Luckily, this story has a happy ending. A good Samaritan saw the pup all by itself and made sure to take all the steps necessary to find the owners. Police reports were filed that named a black SUV as the vehicle seen dropping the dog. An arrest was eventually made in DE of 63-year-old Cynthia Yalisove, whose vehicle and license plate matched the original description. Multiple charges have been filed.

While this situation doesn't have a bad result, it's hard to believe that people actually have no problem doing these kinds of things to animals. These people deserve to be punished to the fullest extent. Just awful....
