New Jersey State Police are looking for a pair of suspects they say stole a check from a Cape May County resident and tried to deposit it in an ATM in Rhode Island.

According to State Police, late last year the suspects stole a $7,602 personal check from a Cape May County resident. On Dec. 6, 2022, one of the men was caught on surveillance video trying to deposit the check in a bank ATM in Providence, Rhode Island.

Additional photos of the suspects making fraudulent deposits and withdrawals were taken at ATMs in Narragansett R.I. and Center Falls, R.I.

The photos give a good look at both men's faces and the State Police hope someone will recognize them
