New Jersey Eases Up on More COVID-19 Guidelines Including Casinos
There's more good news when it comes to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis thanks to more people getting vaccinated and the increased availability of the vaccine.
Friday, March 19th is a big day when it comes to covid restrictions in our state according to the website Patch.com. The Governor announced that indoor dining capacity can now be increased from 35% to 50% excluding employees.
I can't wait to finally go out and enjoy a nice quiet meal with my wife at our favorite Italian Restaurant.
The increased capacity limits also affect indoor facilities, amusement centers, barbershops, nail salons, movie theaters, gyms, and casinos which is great news for Atlantic City!
The capacity increase also applies to live performances at entertainment centers including concerts. The attendance limit will now be 35 percent capacity and not exceed over 150 people. You can now have an indoor gathering with up to 25 and the outdoor gatherings limit will increase to 50. Face masks must be worn along with proper social distance guidelines.
The Governor also announced that the Garden State could return to some kind of normal, or the new normal, by Memorial Day Weekend 2021. That would be awesome news for me. I am so looking forward to once again enjoying our beautiful beaches and boardwalks up and down the Jersey Shore this summer.

From Atlantic City to Wildwood, South Jersey is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the entire country. I'm also so looking g forward to once again this summer seeing a live concert from my favorite bands!
